Well this outcome was a lot better than week one, I’ll tell you hwhat. Let us review some Game Balls!
Game Ball One:
Khlalil Shakir
This guy is going to go down as one of the best to ever do it, and deservedly so. While not scoring a touchdown, he was able to haul over 150 yards of receiving (which I didn’t even realize for a bit he didn’t score). That’s amazing. And his effort while doing so is a highlight reel by any measure.
Game Ball Two:
Stefan Cobbs
Mr. Cobbs was able to house a punt return for his first punt return on The Blue, by itself: awesome. Add another TD on *checks notes* one 61 yard catch(?), and you’ve got yourself quite the game. It’s awesome to see him kind of breakout as it were.
Game Ball Three:
Seyi Olidapo
The true freshman made a name for himself in his first appearance on the blue to the tune of two interceptions. One thing the Broncos were missing last year were turnovers (all of three last year) and Olidapo was able to get the supermajority of those in one game. Really looking forward to whatever production he comes up with next.
Your Turn
Who do you think deserved a Game Ball? Let me know.
