Recruiting is a funny business,It is well-researched guessing, the same way that the NFL Draft is guessing and the preseason Top 25 is guessing. Alex Ogle could be the next great college quarterback, and the recruiting rankings would have never seen him coming. Maybe this is why we fans get atwitter (figuratively and literally) whenever someone joins the Broncos, no matter how highly rated he may be. Would it have been nice to snag a four-star quarterback? Sure. Will we really care about star ratings on these guys two years from now? Probably not. It might seem crazy be thrilled for every single athlete who commits to Boise State, but we do it anyway and maybe because of this: The one quality we do know for sure with Bronco commits is that they are as excited to play for Boise State as we are to watch them. That's enough for me to welcome them with open arms (not literally, that would be a recruiting violation).

Scouting report
Via ESPN:
Ogle would be a nice, late steal for someone at the mid-major level or even lower-tier BCS programs. Purely a pocket player that is a nice fit for multiple/pro-set schemes. Good player that has upside in the passing game.

Chance that Chris Petersen flips him to UW
Zero. Petersen got his quarterback when K.J. Carta-Samuels committed a few weeks ago. It's too late for tradesies.
