For those posting comments on here about Boise State's "decline," first of all how dare you.
Need I remind you that Boise State has the WINNINGEST Division I college football record from 2000-2020. Thats TWENTY years of dominance, folks. No small feat.
They won the Mountain Division of their conference in 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019.
They played in the Mountain West Championship 2014, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020.
They won 3 of 5 of MW championships, with one going to overtime.
They are 3x Fiesta Bowl Champs, who won the most epic game college football has ever witnessed.
They have been a regular Top 25 team out of 124 FBS teams in the last 20 years. They only became a Division I program in 1996, just 26 years ago. The SEC and its original members were founded in 1933, almost 90 years ago, to give you some reference at how far Boise State has come in such little time. Most Power Five schools havent even participated in a major bowl game, let alone won three of them.
All of this with such a short school history in Division I, and small budget in comparison to many of the Power Five programs.
Its good to be concerned, but do not think a program like this so easily loses its identify because of a down season or two. Not to mention COVID being a factor in 2020 and 2021. Its not about how you start, but how you finish. This season is still up for grabs. Go Broncos.
