Football season actually feels close, and what could be better? To help you with the wait, a guy who took a big step up this season, #34 Mr. Alexander Teubner.
#34, Alexander Teubner, RS Junior, S

Stats
Height: 5’11
Weight: 195
High School: Seaside HS, Seaside, OR
How’d he get to The Blue™?
He’s a walk-on hailing from the seaside town of Seaside, OR. Mr. Teubner had a pretty good senior season with the Gulls as he was a first team all-state with rushing for 2,420 yards and scoring a casual 44 touchdowns in his 2018 season. Not a ton for a recruiting profile info on him, but we weren’t the only suitor, we were just the best one.
Nickname
“Alexander the Great up-and-coming safety who we really like”
Mostly just wanted something that rolled of the tongue, ya know?
Look-alike

I am not wont to fix things that aren’t broken, and giving Matt Damon his comparison with the Bronco safety is perfectly and completely accurate.
Career Highlights
Teubner finished the year with 16 tackles (8 solo), including a forced fumble against BYU. Played in all 12 games and blocked his first career kick against New Mexico.
2022 Prospectus
There is not a shortage of quality safeties on the team at the moment, but I’d expect his impact to continue to grow. The secondary as a unit had a massive turnaround and I’d expect that to continue in 2022, with Teubner continuing to make plays as well.
Is he on Twitter?
He is! And very supportive of all his fellow Broncos.
A leader on the team, and in the community https://t.co/InxK0RYIV3

Completely made up fact
Well known as a team schmarty-pants, it’s less known that when the school of Seaside was being sued a la Red Bull for not actually being on the seaside (it’s over 2.8 miles away), Mr. Teubner represented the school in court while on break from his AP Calculus exam.
