Arizona’s Sadraque Nganga made his commitment to Boise State known back in February, but as of this morning the former 5-star recruit is officially a Bronco...something Boise State tweeted out without adding “rated” or “ranked” as a qualifier making it somewhat humorous

Jokes aside, Nganga could be a big-time difference maker for the Broncos in short order, especially since they are losing Abu Kigab and potentially Emmanuel Akot (toe in the portal) and Marcus Shaver. The Broncos are sure to be a different beast next season, but injecting young talent ala Freshman of the Year Tyson Degenhart will be key to the squad’s success moving forward. Nganga once boasted a “Top 11” of Memphis, Arizona State, Georgia, Oklahoma, Saint Mary’s, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, UCLA, Arizona, and Auburn so you can see the tall cotton the Broncos found themselves in with Nganga’s commitment. Admittedly, an injury cooled a bit of his recruitment before the Broncos scooped him up, but health improves...so now we just wait.
Nganga is rated at a .9638 on the 247sports composite and the service had this to say about the 6’9” (or 6’10”) forward
Versatile post with good size and length. Solid base with strong shoulders and chiseled frame. Very skilled for young post; smooth stroke with range to three but currently best from midrange. Very good from high post where he can shoot, drive or pass. Quick first step for size and plus vision for position. Finishes with both hands. Active defender who rebounds and blocks shots; can improve consistency from perimeter and back to basket game while continuing to gain strength; projects as a high major priority recruit

I guess we’re a basketball school now.
