Boise State Game Balls

Despite the bummer loss, there were some bright spots from the UCF game last week. Let’s talk about them!

Game Ball One:

Tyric LeBeauf

Mr. LeBeauf was single-handedly keeping the Broncos alive with his efforts. Two interceptions and one that went to the house for six points. While might impressive for us the Mountain West thought otherwise when they were handing out weekly awards. Oh well. These are the only ones that matter anyway.

Game Ball Two:

JL Skinner

Sticking with the defensive side of the ball, Mr. Skinner had himself a pretty decent night as well. He led both teams in total tackles with 13 and was a trying to prop up a tired defense. He’s going to leave Boise State with some pretty solid accolades (like OBNUG Game Balls!).

Game Ball Three:

Khalil Shakir

I will never not be a Shakir stan. 91 yards and two touchdowns. Makes you wonder why those stats weren’t more gaudy. He’s such a joy to watch.
