But who is the prey?

Welcome to the weekend, folks. As you brush off last night’s drinking with some brunch mimosas, let’s take a look at #54 on the Bronco football roster—Gabriel Hunter

#54, Gabriel Hunter, RS Freshman, EDGE

Height: 6’ 3”

Weight: 226 lbs (+9)

High School: Hendrickson HS (Pflugerville, TX)

How’d he get to the Blue™?

Hunter was targeted by an absolutely stunning amount of Ivy League schools, and notably visited Dave Southorn’s Colorado. In the end, however, he took his athletic and academic prowess to the Broncos.

“The Professor”

Ivy League schools ain’t out here offering dum-dums.

A younger, better-coifed Shemar Moore? Our sources say maybe.

Career Highlights

A defensive end/EDGE whose first highschool highlight is a pick six? Yes please.

And while it’s not football, Gabe has had some off-the-field highlights at Boise State already; he was one of 60 Boise State players named to the 2020 Fall Academic All-MW.

2021 Prospectus

After the strangely truncated 2020 season, Gabriel hadn’t officially recorded any time on the field. With Bagnah, Herberg, and Kline filling in the main rotation, Mr. Hunter may make some appearances but likely will not start. Much like many of us, Gabriel put on some pandemic weight, but I would be confident in betting he didn’t get it from Pizza Hut like we did.

If his highschool highlight tape gives us any inkling of the future, however, I would keep an eye on this one.

Is he on Twitter?

Indeed, he is. Not overly active as of late, but check the svelte new profile picture. Jean jacket are back, y’all.

Completely made up fact

Gabriel has an expansive collection of concert t-shirts, including his pride and joy: one of every single t-shirt design ever sold on Warped Tour.
