As my long, paid vacation from the Countdown comes to an end, I return to the writing grind only to miss my deadline and then spend far too long wondering what prankster put the Pittsburgh Steelers backup QB on our list for the Countdown. Technical difficulties aside, we have exactly 63 days to kickoff. NINE WEEKS, PEOPLE. Begin planning your tailgates immediately. Also, the countdown is #63 - OL Mason Randolph (NOT Rudolph)
#63, Mason Randolph, Freshman, OL

How’d he get to the Blue™?
A three star offensive lineman, Mason’s services were in high demand, with offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado, Michigan State, and Boise State. Continuing the Yorba Linda pipeline, Mason followed Mike Callahan and Nathan Cardona to the Blue.

“The Yoberlinda Wall”
Look-a-like

This is a niche reference, but to me he’s the real life version of Harold “Coop” Cooplowski from Megas XLR. I hope three of you are familiar with the reference.
Career Highlights
2021 Prospectus
I admittedly know almost nothing about offensive linemen. I have no background by which to judge them, and any predictions for the future may as well be soulless bloviating. I do feel fairly safe in predicting Mason will not be on the field this fall, short of some disastrous injuries or a swath of ejections that somehow activates a true redshirt lineman to game experience.
While he likely won’t see the field this season, Mason could be the second coming of Nate Potter, based solely on hair.
Is he on Twitter?
Indeed. Big time hype man for his friends getting recruited.
Completely made up fact
Mason has a collection of rare fidget spinners, including one particularly well-lubricated model that has been spinning continuously since 2018.
