First game in: LVE gets a break a collarbone
Which... sucks. This dude just can’t catch a break. They don’t believe the injury is season-ending but that is besides the point. He had his second season cut short with a neck issue and now his third season is interrupted. I would just like for him to stay healthy!
Source says Leighton Vander Esch suffered a broken collarbone, but it is not a season-ending type of injury. A determination on surgery will be made after getting further tests on Monday. https://t.co/tG1NXAfYC0

This AP top-25 is weird
I mean. I get it. With so many schools willingly not participating in the season, it is kind of hard to rank these guys accurately. But seeing the Ragin’ Cajuns at no. 19? Army at no. 22 with two wins. It’s such a strange poll to see right now.
BSU FB recruiting still at it
The Broncos nabbed a recruit from Friday and then on Saturday the ‘Go Broncos’ signal went up twice. One revealed himself in short order.
From Friday: Eric McAllister. Whose sheet is impressive: Nebraska, Utah, Virginia Tech, and Wisconsin (had some interest from TCU and Texas Tech).

Mr. Amos a three-star recruit, per 247Sports, out of Texas. He had a really decent offer sheet including P5 teams such as Georgia Tech and Kansas, and some G5 teams including Houston.
