These guys need protection and assurances that they can play in a safe atmosphere and have the opportunity to remain healthy. These guys are playing a game for our entertainment. But they are humans first and they should be afforded opportunities to remain somewhat healthy and safe doing so.

Having neck problems can be the worst. I am glad that he feels healthy again and is ready to play. I know that last year was a frustrating one for him after missing out on seven games. It seems as though that the surgery was a success and he has the opportunity to come back and really re-establish himself as one of the premier athletes, let alone linebackers.
