Technically this would be game week. You’d get our depth chart post. Team anagram posts. A breakdown from Drew. You name it. But, alas, we get... not that. We will have other stuff to come but until then you have the countdown to posts to look forward to. This is also my last entry for the countdown. Bittersweet moment for me.—Safety Evan Tyler

How’d he get to the Blue™?
The one-time San Jose State commit didn’t have too many offers but quite a bit of interest (most of it from Pac-12 schools). Whatever. The Broncos were able to sway Mr. Evans to the light side and bring his talents to Boise. Good for us!

Gonna keep riding this one out.
Career Highlights
Mr. Tyler appeared in 12 games for the Broncos last season where he had his most productive year yet. He had one INT and 14 tackles (sharing one TFL). He got injured his RS Freshman year after starting three games. RS Sophomore year got injured in preseason. Tyler has had a rough go of it to put it lightly. Would have really liked to have seen him unleash all that pent-up energy this year.
2020 Prospectus
Safety is/would have been a strong suit for the Broncos this year. Tyler has a lot of experience to compliment Happle and Skinner. This could have been the year that Tyler really blossomed as a player and a leader for the Broncos. What with the season in hiatus and the NCAA allowing players a mulligan for a year really makes you wonder how these last year guys are going to finish out. I do hope to see Tyler on the field again. He’s earned the right to go out on his terms.
Is he on Twitter?
Yep.
Had an empowering zoom discussion this afternoon with student-athletes, faculty and admin about the issues involved in our country. Have the tough conversations to evoke change in our country. Listen. Learn. Lead. #blacklivesmatter

Completely made up fact
You remember a few years ago where a woman was literally in a search party to find herself? You know who was the person that eventually figured all that out? Mr. Tyler.
