I know this isn’t much of a WUBN but, unfortunately, there isn’t a whole lot going on. What with the football (and the rest of the fall sports) put on hiatus until further notice news stuff is also at a premium.
The impact of losing football is tremendous. The first casualties were Boise State cutting two athletic teams. Athletic Direct Curt Apsey commenting that football makes up 50% of revenue (which is a huge loss). And the local community losing out on literal millions of dollars due to football not being on the horizon.
Things... suck.
Well what can we do?
If you are fortunate enough, please donate to worthy causes that can help those that need it (the Idaho Foodbank being another). If you cannot donate money, maybe donating some of your time via volunteering?
The next couple of months are going to be a rough patch. One of the ways we can make sure that everyone survives is if we can pitch in (again, if we are able). \
