I wouldn’t place any bets with any amount of money that is significant to you. Because this plan is such a stretch that it can’t be feasible in general. People are going to talk about it and, I guess, maybe so should we. Having said all that, I do not believe this is going to happen at all.

I mean. It’s esports. So if that isn’t your bag then you won’t really enjoy that. But the it looks as though Learfield is trying something a little different and fill whatever void that on-the-field sports is leaving.

This is more of an academic thing. But this impacts the school greatly. Look for enrollment to be down and, pairing that with the loss of football, it’s going to be a long school year. This is hopefully to get folks at least somewhat involved.
