How’d he get to the Blue™?

Nick walked on to the Broncos after his graduating from Damien High School. He had no offers heading into the college level, even after he was selected to the All-Baseline League Second Team as a senior. He earned those honors after racking up 101 tackles and 2 sacks.

Last season, Nick had the hair to be compared with Coach Avalos; this season with the new buzzcut, we’re getting Jon Huertas vibes. (If he looks familiar, its because he’s in darned near everything)

Career Highlights

Nick hasn’t yet been a regular starter, but in 2019 he did see more action than ever before. While he had three tackles on the season, his biggest highlight was the 10-yard return of a squib kick against Portland State.

2020 Prospectus

Anything can happen, but this season looks like more of the same for Nick. Barring injury, he will likely be 3rd on the depth chart for WLB, and will mostly see the field for special teams or garbage time. But, never say never; the linebacking corps has been hit with the injury bug before. While we’d never root for a rash of injuries, we’d be hyped to see Nick on the field in his senior season.
