In a poll that should surprise no one, the Broncos are the picked to be the winners of the Mountain Division:

The Broncos led the way with 20 (out of 21) first-place votes. Division rival (yeah, they wish) _yoming netting the only non-Boise State vote.
In the West Division, San Diego State garnered a dominating 19 votes with UNR receiving the other two.
Both outcomes seem fairly standard but beg some questions about how the media views the West as a whole.
Defending division champs, Hawaii, are breaking in a new coach and UNR only has two scholarship QBs on the roster, while Fresno will (maybe?) get better with their new coach, Kalen DeBoer. Meanwhile the Aztecs will also have to break in a “new” coach in retread, Brady Hoke.
If we are being honest, the West Division seems to have more uncertainties that make all those votes going to SDSU kind of interesting.
As for the Mountain, the Broncos are three-time defending division champs and pretty darn close to being three-time conference champs (but thems the breaks of course). If anything the returning talent and consistency from the top lends itself to the Broncos getting the benefit of the doubt.
All this to say: man, hopefully there is a season to be had to prove something.
Your turn
What do you think? Are the votes correct? Do you agree with them? Let me know.
