Boise State Game Balls for BYU

Whooo boy. We did not see that one coming, did we? While the game as a whole could be flushed, there were some outstanding performances that need to be recognized.

Game Ball One:

Khalil Shakir

What can we say about a guy that does it all. He will end up being a first ballot Boise State Hall of Famer for sure. He had two touchdowns, 139 receiving yards, and an onside kick recovery. What more can a baller like that do? Oh. He can get a Game Ball!

Game Ball Two:

Scott Matlock

This one is kind of a homer pick since yours truly went to Homedale and Mr. Matlock also hails from Homedale. But it feels warranted. The guy had four tackles total and 1.5 sacks. Wilson is slippery and athletic so being able to pin him down is difficult. Mattlock getting the job done is commendable.
