They did it. The Broncos left the islands with the W albeit a bit closer than wanted/expected.
Game Ball One:
Khalil Shakir
The dude is going to leave Boise State as one of the all-time greats. This past game he had 130 yards receiving on 11 catches and two touchdowns. He keeps coming up clutch for the Broncos and it will be such a sad day when he is no longer on the team. I wish we could keep him forever.
Game Ball Two:
Shane Irwin
Mr. Irwin had himself a day as well with five total tackles and two sacks. Apparently that two sack performance was pretty good and one for the history books.
#BoiseState junior DE Shane Irwin now ranks 2nd in the @MountainWest with 5.0 sacks this season.

He’s the first Bronco with 2.0+ sacks in back-to-back weeks in at least 15 years.
Yup.#TuSTATS
Boise State has had some incredible defensive players the past decade alone. And this is the first time a player has had 2.0+ sacks in back-to-back games? Huh. That’s cool.
Game Ball Three:
Avery Williams

Your Turn
You know what doesn’t get a Game Ball? Tackling. Woof.
