Boise State Game Balls for Hawaii

They did it. The Broncos left the islands with the W albeit a bit closer than wanted/expected.

Game Ball One:

Khalil Shakir

The dude is going to leave Boise State as one of the all-time greats. This past game he had 130 yards receiving on 11 catches and two touchdowns. He keeps coming up clutch for the Broncos and it will be such a sad day when he is no longer on the team. I wish we could keep him forever.

Game Ball Two:

Shane Irwin

Mr. Irwin had himself a day as well with five total tackles and two sacks. Apparently that two sack performance was pretty good and one for the history books.

Boise State has had some incredible defensive players the past decade alone. And this is the first time a player has had 2.0+ sacks in back-to-back games? Huh. That’s cool.
