The kid can’t seem to avoid the injury bug. But when he’s on the field, he makes an in immediate impact (literally and figuratively). I just hope that he is able to stay healthy for the rest of the year. He deserves to be out there on the field.
Broncos move up in the AP top 25
Again, this is such a weird season it’s kind of hard to put a lot of stock in this considering what teams have played, and how much. It’s hard to gauge how good these teams are (or aren’t). Which does bring up the BYU game this Friday, they will be no. 9. Which is cool but also, meh.
Speaking of the game this Friday
The Broncos are a two point underdog. Which is interesting because:
Based on my research, Boise State has been the favorite in 121 of the last 122 home games dating back to 2001.

BYU currently is a 2-point favorite.
Truly will be rare air on Friday when the Cougars come to town.
Mr. Rains mentions that it’s the Fresno State game in 2018 that had the Broncos as home underdogs. You may also be wondering about the game against Boston College. Rains does address that as well: Broncos were underdogs. But since BC was TECHNICALLY the home team, it’s a semantic issue. Still, fun with stats!
Check out the Sagarin rankings because numbers are fun!
Broncos are number nine here.
