2020 Boise State Recruiting Roundup: 9/22/19

NCAA Football: Air Force at Boise State Brian Losness-USA TODAY Sports

Man alive, it doesn’t matter how “bad” Air Force is, I will always be nervous playing them. They are anything but bad this year, so that win on Friday was solid. Let’s check in and see how our future Broncos did this week!

Isaiah Bradford, S, Redlands East Valley HS (Redlands, CA)

REVHS lost to Norco 20-56 on Friday, dropping to 0-5 on the season. Stats are not yet available in the loss. However, stats for the first two games have been added for Isaiah, who has 3 receptions for 36 yards and 23 tackles total, 16 solo, with 2 passes defended in those two games. I’ll continue to update as his stats are added.

Next up for REVHS is Redlands (1-3) on Friday, 10/4 at 7:00pm. They have a bye this upcoming week.

Brandon Hernandez, OL, Yucaipa HS (Yucaipa, CA)

While the Thunderbirds lost on Friday 28-38 to San Gorgonio, Brandon was named the Semper Fidelis Offensive Player of the Game. They move to 1-3 on the year.

Next up for the Thunderbirds is Silverado (0-5) on Friday, 9/27 at 7:00pm.

Russell Corrigan, TE, Hutchinson Senior HS (Hutchinson, MN)

HSHS is now 4-0 after blanking Apollo 76-0. No stats were available in the win, nor for the season.

HSHS takes on Sauk Rapids-Rice (1-3) this Friday, 9/27, at 7:00pm.

Donovan Clark, CB, Lincoln HS (Tacoma, WA)

Lincoln got their first win of the year over Wilson, winning 54-0. They improve to 1-2.

The Abes next opponent Bonney Lake ( this Friday, 9/27 at 7:00pm.

Kaonohi Kaniho, CB, Kahuku HS (Kahuku, HI)

Kahuku blanked Kapolei 39-0 on Friday, moving to 5-2 on the season. Stats for Kaniho in this games is not yet available. Apologies as I forgot to update the opponent last week.

The Red Raiders play Punahou (7-1) this Saturday, 9/28 at 7:00pm.

Nathan Cardona, OG, Yorba Linda HS (yorba Linda, CA)

Yorba Linda lost to Foothill on Friday 7-14 to move to 3-1 for the year. Stats are not generally kept for offensive lineman.

The Mustangs play La Mirada (4-1) this Friday, 9/27 at 7:00pm.

Highlights for Nathan from last week’s game against Capistrano Valley are below.

Robert Cooper, DE, Bethel HS (Spanaway, WA)

Robert hails from Ezra Cleveland’s alma mater Bethel out of Washington. Listed at 6’ 4” and 230 lbs, Robert passed on offers from Utah, Oregon State, Utah State, Wyoming, SJSU and Hawaii to be a Bronco.

Bethel beat Spanaway Lake on Friday 23-7 to improve to 1-2 for the year. There seems to be a glitch with MaxPreps as he is not listed on the roster, but is definitely #76 per his highlights below.

The Braves play Wilson (0-3) this Friday, 9/27 at 7:00pm.

We still have an outstanding GO BRONCOS commit out there, but there is no telling when they will announce. Hopefully we can get some players added to the list next week! The Broncos have a bye week this week, coming at a much needed time to heal up.

GO BRONCOS!
