What do you call a boat full of polite football players?
A good sportsman ship.
Dropping or reclassifying football
This is an interesting look at the University of Chicago dropping football almost 80 years ago. It also dabbles into the reasons that the school up north decided to drop down from FBS to FCS. “De-emphasizing” football.
The University of Idaho chooses very consciously, as the University of Chicago chose so long ago, an appropriate place for its athletic programs,” Staben wrote.
Oooooookayyyyyy. Not to belabor any certain points from the article, but the school up north was not on the level that Chicago was at the time Chicago decided to step away.
Khalil Shakir: one of the highest-graded receivers so far
At least according to PFF. But #1 our hearts.
Justin Jefferson leads the way as the highest-graded wide receiver in college football! What has each receiver done well so far this season? @PFF_Linsey tells us!https://t.co/YYud3tPHHH pic.twitter.com/INDo8UG9P1

Speaking of Curtis Weaver
That’s an ESPN article about the top 32 NFL Draft prospects going into next year. Don’t click on it if you don’t want be sad. (It’s a happy-sad.)
CBS Sports likes Weaver too
I mean, yeah, it’s cool all the publicity. Still. Happy-sad.
The Athletic about Kellen’s success (so far) ($)
This isn’t anything that we don’t already know. But the fact he’s a big deal right now to somewhere other than Boise, ID? Kind of neat. There are a lot of smart guys in the NFL. He just happens to be one of them.
Miscellinkeous
Rotating spiral. It’s exactly what it is. So if you get motion sickness, be careful.
