2020 Boise State Recruiting Roundup: 9/8/19

NCAA Football: Portland State at Boise State Brian Losness-USA TODAY Sports

Solid win last night from the Broncos. Despite being an FCS team, Portland State is no slouch. They hung 79 on a DIII team the previous week and hung with Arkansas the entire game. 3-0 and on to prepping for Air Force *shudders*. Let’s check in on our future Broncos and see how they did.

Isaiah Bradford, S, Redlands East Valley HS (Redlands, CA)

The Wildcats lost to Heritage 10-33 on Friday, moving to 0-4 on the season. Stats are available in the game, but I don’t see any stats for Bradford. If I find anything out I’ll update this post.

Next up for REVHS is Norco (3-0) on Friday, 9/20 at 7:00pm.

Brandon Hernandez, OL, Yucaipa HS (Yucaipa, CA)

The Thunderbirds lost to Chaparral on Friday 19-52 moving to 1-2. Stats aren’t generally kept for offensive lineman.

Next up for the Thunderbirds is San Gorgonio (3-1) on Friday, 9/20 at 7:00pm.

Russell Corrigan, TE, Hutchinson Senior HS (Hutchinson, MN)

HSHS is now 3-0 after winning 36-20 against Rocori. No stats were available in the win.

HSHS takes on Apollo (1-2) this Friday, 9/20, at 7:00pm.

Donovan Clark, CB, Lincoln HS (Tacoma, WA)

Lincoln lost to Lake Stevens 26-35, moving to 0-2 on the year. Stats are not yet available in the loss.

The Abes next opponent is TBA for this Friday, 9/20 at 7:00pm.

Kaonohi Kaniho, CB, Kahuku HS (Kahuku, HI)

Kahuku dropped their first to St. Louis 0-28 on Saturday, moving to 4-2 on the season. Stats for Kaniho in this games is not yet available.

The Red Raiders play St. Louis(4-0) this Saturday, 9/14 at 7:00pm.

Highlights from last week’s game against Timpview are below.

Nathan Cardona, OG, Yorba Linda HS (yorba Linda, CA)

Nathan committed to the Broncos last week after his visit. Listed at 6’ 3.5” and 275 lbs, Cardona is a consensus 3-star player that passed on offers from Air Force, Army, Colorado State and Fresno State.

Yorba Linda took down Capistrano Valley on Friday 2-14 to move to 3-0 for the year. Stats are not generally kept for offensive lineman.

The Mustangs play Foothill (3-0) this Friday, 9/20 at 7:00pm.

We still have an outstanding GO BRONCOS commit out there, but there is no telling when they will announce. Hopefully we can get some players added to the list next week!

GO BRONCOS!
