Happy Father’s Day to all the papas out there! And WOW, day 76 already? It’ll be Bronco football time before we know it. Todays player is well known among the Bronco faithful and it could very well be his last year. Today we have Ezra Cleveland on deck. Let’s go.

#76, Ezra Cleveland, RS Junior, OL

Stats

Height: 6’6”

Weight: 311 lbs (+1 lb)

High School: Bethel High School, Spanaway, WA

How’d he get to The BlueTM?

Ezra was highly coveted by the Broncos, specifically Huff in 2015. Ezra got a lot of attention out of Bethel after being a monster on both sides of the ball. The Broncos had to fight off Washington State, Eastern Washington, Oregon State, Nevada and Air Force, to name a few, for his services, and he obliged.

Nickname

”The Tower”

This seems pretty self explanatory. I mean, have you seen him?

Look-alike

A less beardy, more meaty Andrew Miller

Career highlights

Named All-MW First Team at left tackle in 2018 and All-MW honorable mention as a freshman. Has started 27 games as a freshman/sophomore and was part of a line that produced back-to-back 1,000 yard rushers.

Out of high school, he was listed as the #24 player in the state of Washington after racking up 41 tackles and 4 sacks as a senior at Bethel.

2019 Prospectus

Oh Ezra is starting. I don’t think that has ever been up for debate. Heck, I think that was established before his rs freshman season was over. I think All-MW First Team at left tackle is in the bag and I feel completely confident in saying that.

What I don’t feel confident in saying is Ezra will be a Bronco next season. I mean yes, “Once a Bronco, Always a Bronco”, but I mean I’m not confident that he doesn’t leave early as he will be one of the best left tackles in the nation this year. If anything I’ll be surprised if he comes back.

Is he on Twitter?

I mean he is, but he doesn’t tweet. The last thing he did was RT LVE’s thank you message in 2017. It looks like he has another account here, but it’s just about as active.

Completely made up fact

Ezra is rarely invited to BBQs. The last one resulted in Ezra consuming the entire 15 lb brisket, not realizing it was more than one serving. He asked for seconds.
