But not before getting to the regional championship game (beating Stanford twice to get there). Florida was just too good.
On social media (read: Twitter) there was plenty of salt from other MWC-affiliated folks saying that their respective teams were more deserving. Those teams? San Jose State, UNLV, and Fresno State. It was pretty high-level salt too. Like, football-level bitterness. At any rate, the Broncos proved they belonged by making it that far. And that’s pretty good. (For reference: Broncos had more wins in the regionals than the MWC conference champ Colorado State. So suck it, Rams!)
