Two tickets for Saturday’s spring game

Hello all—

I was planning to attend this Saturday’s spring game—first chance to see next year’s squad, watch our prospective QBs, etc, etc, etc—and then my other favorite team upset my plans.

The men’s basketball squad from my alma mater, the University of Virginia, made the Final Four in Minneapolis with a stunning last second win over Purdue last weekend, so now, instead of sitting outdoors watching football on The Blue, I’ll be in front of a TV screen watching the ‘Hoos take on Auburn.

That leaves me with two free tickets to the spring game. If you want them, email me at ravdbf@gmail.com and they are yours.

And for any basketball fans out there, root for my UVA squad. They’re a natural favorite for BSU fans: their colors are also orange and blue, and their basketball coach, Tony Bennett, reminds me a great deal of Coach Pete: class act, soft-spoken, brilliant, great rapport with the players. Most importantly, unlike Duke and Kentucky, who bring in the big stars who are all "one and done" with a single season and then on to the NBA, Coach Bennett recruits OKGs and plays a style that is all about the team rather than the individuals.

Go ‘Hoos! Go Broncos!
