Well finally!!!
The Broncs MBB finally were able to get a win during the MWC tournament. It’s kind of a big deal, and I am being serious.
You know why?
Because it’s the first win down in Vegas (for the tournament) in FOUR SEASONS!
FINAL: Boise State 66, Colorado State 57. Broncos win at Mountain West Tournament for the first time in four seasons.

The Broncos were led by Derrick Alston’s 17 points to a win that finally ended the bad luck.
Four Broncos had double-digit points with Hobbs (12), Haney (16) who also led the team in rebounds with seven, and Dickinson with 10 points.
Though
Boise State used the momentum from the Air Force game to power past the Rams. Only trailing once—by one—in the first half, the Broncos had led by as many as 14 and were never truly in any danger from Colorado State. (Though there is always cause for concern given how this year has gone.)
This is a huge win for Coach Leon Rice and crew if nothing than as a confidence builder. In a season where not much went right, to get a chance to continue playing will work wonders for the squad. There is a lot to be said about the building blocks for the Broncos and this will give them at least one more game to keep everyone together.
Here are the final stats from the game.
