2020 Boise State Recruiting Roundup: 11/10/19

NCAA Football: Wyoming at Boise State Brian Losness-USA TODAY Sports

A. WIN. IS. A. WIN.

But man was that ugly. Hopefully they get the issues addressed. Let’s see how our future Broncos fared this week.

Isaiah Bradford, S, Redlands East Valley HS (Redlands, CA)

REVHS’s season is over, going winless at 0-10. Based on available stats, Bradford finished the year with 23 total tackles, 16 solo, and 2 passes defended before his season ended due to injury. Right now, it sounds like the plan is to grayshirt Bradford as he has not yet had surgery to repair his ACL, with his planned enrollment being January 2021. We’ll have to see how that plays out.

Brandon Hernandez, OL, Yucaipa HS (Yucaipa, CA)

Brandon’s season is over after his Thunderbirds finished 3-7. Brandon, while playing offense, picked up some stats on defense. He had 29 total tackles, 12 solo, 1 qb hurry and 1 pass defended.

Russell Corrigan, TE, Hutchinson Senior HS (Hutchinson, MN)

Hutchinson advanced to the next round of the playoffs after taking down Fridley 52-14, remaining perfect at 11-0. Still no stats available for Corrigan.

HSHS will play Blake/Hope Academy/Minnehaha Academy/St. Paul Academy-Summit (12-1) on Thursday, 11/14, at 4:30pm. This is a semifinal match in the MSHSL - Class AAAA tournament.

Donovan Clark, CB, Lincoln HS (Tacoma, WA)

Lincoln waxed Rainier Beach 56-6 this week, improving to 8-2 and are on a 8-game winning streak after starting 0-2. No stats for Donovan were available in the win.

The Abes next opponent is TBD as I believe they are getting into playoffs. I’ll update if I get a chance.

Kaonohi Kaniho, CB, Kahuku HS (Kahuku, HI)

Kahuku has not played since the Mililani playoff game, which they won 7-3.

Kahuku has a bit of a break as their next game isn’t until 11/22 at 4:00pm against Campbell (6-5). They played earlier in the season with Kahuku winning 35-7.

Highlights from the game against Mililani are below.

Nathan Cardona, OG, Yorba Linda HS (yorba Linda, CA)

Yorba Linda blanked Citrus Hill on Friday, winning 28-0 to move to 10-1 for the year. Stats are not generally kept for offensive lineman.

The Mustangs play St. Paul (10-1) this Friday, 11/15 at 7:00pm in the quarterfinals of the CIF Southern Section High School Football Division 5 Playoffs.

Robert Cooper, DE, Bethel HS (Spanaway, WA)

Bethel beat Bishop Blanchet on Friday 41-13, moving to 7-3 for the year. Stats for him aren’t available in the win.

There is not a scheduled game for the Braves as of right now. I don’t know if they are just waiting for games to play out for the playoffs or if Bethel is done. I wouldn’t think so at 7-3, 6-1 in district. I’ll update when I can.

Nick Booker-Brown, DT, Westfield HS (Houston, TX)

Westfield wrecked Benjamin Davis 52-6 on Thursday, improving to 9-1. Stats weren’t available in the win. Booker-Brown only has stats for the first 3 games, in which he has 20 total tackles, 3 solo, 5 tackles for loss, and 3 sacks.

The Mustangs play Klein Cain (6-4) this Friday, 11/15, at 7:00pm. This will be the first round of 2019 Football Conference 6A D2 Playoffs.

LaTrell Caples, WR, Lancaster HS (Lancaster, TX)

The Tigers handled Wilson 38-3 on Friday, moving to 8-2. Stats weren’t available in the win.

The Tigers play The Colony (8-2) this Thursday, 11/14 at 7:00pm.

Riden Leong, OT, Orange Coast College (Honolulu, HI)

The Pirates got worked by Riverside 3-76 on Saturday, moving to 1-8. Stats aren’t generally kept for offensive lineman.

The Pirates play Southern this Saturday, 11/16 at 6:00pm.

Chance Luper, WR, Fort Worth Christian HS (North Richlands Hills, TX)

The Cardinals to GFCHS 23-27 on Friday, moving to . Stats for Chance in the ‘19-’20 season are not yet available.

The Cardinals play Dallas Christian this Friday, 11/15, at 7:30pm.

The Broncos get UNMat home this week. Hopefully the Broncos can put together a complete game this week. Keep you eyes peeled for more GO BRONCOS tweets!
