2020 Boise State Recruiting Roundup: 10/06/19

NCAA Football: Boise State at UNLV Stephen R. Sylvanie-USA TODAY Sports

While it wasn’t always pretty, a dub is a dub is a dub. The Broncos are 5-0 and are headed back home to take on the visiting Rainbow Warriors.

Let’s check in and see how our future Broncos did this week!

Isaiah Bradford, S, Redlands East Valley HS (Redlands, CA)

In case you missed it last week, Bradford’s season is over, unfortunately, due to an injury.

REVHS lost a close one to Redlands 17-20. They remain winless at 0-6.

REVHS takes on Cajon (4-2) on Friday, 10/11 at 7:00pm.

Brandon Hernandez, OL, Yucaipa HS (Yucaipa, CA)

The Thunderbirds lost on Friday 7-56 to Citrus Valley, moving to 1-5 on the year.

Next up for the Thunderbirds is Carter (2-4) on Friday, 10/11 at 7:00pm.

Russell Corrigan, TE, Hutchinson Senior HS (Hutchinson, MN)

HSHS is now 6-0 after beating Delano 30-12. Still no stats available for Corrigan.

HSHS takes on Big Lake (2-3) this Friday, 10/11, at 7:00pm.

Donovan Clark, CB, Lincoln HS (Tacoma, WA)

Lincoln blanked Spanaway Lake, winning 48-0. That’s 3 shut-outs in a row! They improve to 3-2. No stats for Donovan were available in the win.

The Abes next opponent is Stadium (1-4) this Friday, 10/11 at 7:00pm.

Kaonohi Kaniho, CB, Kahuku HS (Kahuku, HI)

Kahuku lost to Punahou 21-13 on Saturday, moving to 5-3 on the season. Stats for Kaniho in this games is not yet available.

The Red Raiders play Farrington (2-6) this Saturday, 10/12 at 7:00pm.

Highlights from Kapolei are below.

Nathan Cardona, OG, Yorba Linda HS (yorba Linda, CA)

Yorba Linda took down El Dorado on Friday 45-7 to move to 5-1 for the year. Stats are not generally kept for offensive lineman.

The Mustangs play Brea Olinda (4-2) this Friday, 10/11 at 7:00pm.

Robert Cooper, DE, Bethel HS (Spanaway, WA)

Bethel blanked Mt. Tahoma on Thursday 52-0 to improve to 3-2 for the year. There seems to be a glitch with MaxPreps as he is not listed on the roster, but is definitely #76.

The Braves play Lakes (4-0) this Friday, 10/11 at 7:00pm.

Nick Booker-Brown, DT, Westfield HS (Houston, TX)

Nick just so happens to be our silent commit from a couple of weeks ago. It’s nice to finally know who it is. The name is familiar because he is the brother of current Bronco Josh Booker-Brown (who will presumably take a red shirt to deal with an academic issue).

Nick passed on offers from Virginia Tech, Rutgers, Memphis, Kansas State, Houston and Colorado, to name a few, to be a Bronco. Listed on 247 at 6’1” and 250 lbs, he is the 8th commit for the Broncos.

Nick’s Mustangs are currently 4-1 and coming off a 31-16 win against Dekaney. Stats for Nick aren’t yet available, but through the first 3 games, Nick had 20 total tackles, 5 tackles for loss and 3 sacks.

The Mustangs play Eisenhower (1-4) this Thursday, 10/10 at 7:00pm.

Nick’s most recent highlights against North Shore are below.

The Broncos take on Hawaii this week. Hopefully the Broncos can correct a few things in the next week...

GO BRONCOS!
