REVHS lost to Yucaipa 35-52. They remain winless at 0-8.
REVHS takes on Carter (3-5) on Thursday, 10/24 at 7:00pm.
Brandon Hernandez, OL, Yucaipa HS (Yucaipa, CA)
The Thunderbirds won on Friday 53-35 against Redlands East Valley, moving to 2-6 on the year.
Next up for the Thunderbirds is Redlands (2-6) on Friday, 10/25 at 7:00pm.
Russell Corrigan, TE, Hutchinson Senior HS (Hutchinson, MN)
HSHS is now 8-0 after beating Willmar 44-7. Still no stats available for Corrigan.
HSHS seems to be on a bye. They have played 8 conference games and nothing remains on their schedule as of now. I’ll update if I find out more information.
Donovan Clark, CB, Lincoln HS (Tacoma, WA)
Lincoln blasted Mount Tahoma, winning 46-0. They improve to 5-2 and are on a 5-game winning streak after starting 0-2. No stats for Donovan were available in the win.
The Abes next opponent is Lakes (5-1) this Friday, 10/25 at 7:00pm.
Kaonohi Kaniho, CB, Kahuku HS (Kahuku, HI)
Kahuku blanked Campbell 46-0 on Saturday, moving to 7-3 on the season. Stats for Kaniho in this game is not yet available.
Much like Corrigan’s Hutchinson squad, Kahuku appears done with their schedule as nothing remains on the schedule. It may be playoff time, but whatever the situation, I will update if I see anything.
Nathan Cardona, OG, Yorba Linda HS (yorba Linda, CA)
Yorba Linda shut out El modena on Friday 35-0 to move to 7-1 for the year. Stats are not generally kept for offensive lineman.
The Mustangs play Villa Park (4-4) this Friday, 10/25 at 7:00pm.
Robert Cooper, DE, Bethel HS (Spanaway, WA)
Bethel stomped Stadium on Friday 58-7 to improve to 5-2 for the year. The glitch has been fixed on Max Preps and Cooper is listed on the roster. Stats for him are only available through the first two games in which he has 9 total tackles.
The Braves play Bonney Lake (2-5) this Friday, 10/25 at 7:00pm.
Nick Booker-Brown, DT, Westfield HS (Houston, TX)
Westfield beat MacArthur 49-6 on Friday, improving to 6-1. Defensive stats weren’t available in the win.
The Mustangs play Aldine (1-7) this Saturday, 10/26 at 7:00pm.
LaTrell Caples, WR, Lancaster HS (Lancaster, TX)
Caples committed this week after a visit the previous. He’s currently the highest rated player in the ‘20 Bronco recruiting class. Listed 6’ 185 lbs, the talented WR hails from CT Thomas’ alma mater, Lancaster HS. Caples passed on a wealth of offers, including Missouri, Ole Miss, Nebraska, Iowa State, Utah, Washington State, Kansas State, Colorado and Boston College to name a few, to be a Bronco.
Caples Tigers are 7-1, coming off a 63-0 drubbing of Bryan Adams HS.
The Tigers play Mansfield Timberview (5-2) this Friday, 10/25 at 7:00pm.
The Broncos have a bye this week to heal up and to contemplate what they failed to do over the weekend. I have an inkling that we will get another commit this week, but this is based on no information. Just a hunch.
