Well, the Broncos obviously had a rough go this week. They definitely didn’t look like the team we are used to. I have no doubt the coaches will get them back on the right track for Wyoming on 9/29.
While no one likes losing, winning is definitely fun! Let’s check in on the future Broncos and see how they did.
Hank Bachmeier, QB, Murrieta Valley HS (Murrieta, CA)
The Nighthawks lost to Oaks Christian 49-13, dropping to 1-3 on the year. Murrieta Valley does not yet have updated stats in the loss. Below is Hank’s highlight video from San Clemente.
Murrieta Valley takes on Buena Park (2-2) this Thursday, 9/20, at 7pm.
Casey Kline, ATH, Brawley HS (Brawley, CA)
Brawley outpaced Cibola, winning 35-25, improving to 4-1 on the year. Casey was 3-10 for 28 yards and had 2 INTs. He also rushed 14 times for 54 yards and a TD and had 2 punts for 84 yards.
The Wildcats have a bye this week, but take on Imperial 9/28 at 7pm.
Keegan Duncan, RB, Declo HS (Declo, ID)
The Hornets remain a perfect 4-0 after beating Buhl a whopping 68-0 on Friday. From what I can tell, Duncan really only played one half, resulting in 7 carries for 114 rushing yards and 3 TDs and 3 receptions for 139 yards and 2 more TDs. He also had an interception return for a TD. Thanks to Sean Whooley for the videos!
My phone failed me in the worst way by apparently not pushing this through real-time. This was one of Keegan Duncan’s TDs tonight-a 53-yard scamper with a little beast mode effort at the end. #declohornets #idpreps pic.twitter.com/ENwS9syi9c

Declo takes on Teton (2-2) this Friday, 9/21, at 7pm.
Jacob Golden, OL, Peoria HS (Peoria, AZ)
The Panthers also stayed a perfect 4-0 after edging Thunderbird in a close one 49-46. Jacob had 5 total tackles on defense and helped contribute on the offensive line to the tune of 405 rushing yards.
Peoria takes on Desert Edge (3-2) on Friday, 9/21, at 7pm.
Ben Dooley, OL, Churchill County HS (Fallon, NV)
The Greenwave improved to 4-0 after pummeling North Valleys 68-18. Ben had one tackle on defense and helped CCHS rush for 300 yards.
CCHS takes on South Tahoe Friday, 9/21, at 7pm.
That’s it for this week. Best of luck to all of the players in the coming week. The Broncos are on a bye week and will face Wyoming in Laramie on the 29th. GO BRONCOS!
