Last weeks matches/games were some good ones. Broncos did well on the court/field/course as there were some wins and a few losses.
Let’s go!
Game Ball One:
Raimee Sherle (soccer)
Against Southern Utah, Ms. Sherle had two goals made with two shots on goal. Sherle has now moved into a tie for second place with most career goals (30). She needs 35 goals in a career to take the record. She won’t take long to get there.
Game Ball Two:
Sabryn Roberts (volleyball)
Ms. Roberts had a pretty good showing at the Santa Clara Invitational where the Broncos split the overall series. They beat host Santa Clara in straight sets where Roberts 13 kills and two blocks. That win extended a school-record 6-game winning streak. The Broncos did eventually fall to UC-Davis, but Roberts did have 12 kills and three blocks during that match.
Game Ball Three:
Yusuke Uchikoshi (xc)
The men’s xc team began the season with a perfect score at the Sundodger Invitational up in Seattle, WA. This effort was led by Mr. Uchikoshi as he won overall with a time of 24:17.20. Pretty impressive way to open up the new season.
Game Ball Four:
Allie Ostrander (xc)
Ms. Ostrander led the women’s side with not only an overall win, but she lead the Bronco sweep of places first through fourth. The Broncos missed out not the perfect team score because they didn’t get places fifth and sixt. But winning the overall meet, and Ostrander taking first, is mighty impressive. A fine day for both Broncos’ teams.
Game Ball Five:
John Hightower (football)
Mr. Hightower had 115 yards receiving on five catches and a TD. He also had 55 yards rushing and a TD.

Bad throw. Great catch.
Your Turn
Yeah, I know, I cut this short. At least the football portion. I could—easily—put almost everyone on here and be legit. I could also just put ‘Team’ and put the overall stats and be fine.
But I have to cap it somehow. One dude had a breakout game (Hightower) and a dude we have been waiting for forever to finally get his recognition got his chance.
Go ahead and let me have it in the comments.
