And just like that, we’re done.
I don’t know if I have ever written the FINAL article of the countdown before. I’m still trying to process how I feel. Joy for football, sadness that the countdown is over, exhaustion from 100 days of content. All good things.
BOISE STATE FOOTBALL IS BACK.
Our final player on the countdown is freshman Chris Mitchell. While he isn’t actually #1, we’re excited to learn about him just the same.

2018 Prospectus
The depth chart for Troy is out.
What is interesting about it is NO true freshman are listed on it. Horton and Williams are your obvious starters, but Jalen Walker is listed as the back-up for both. This can’t ACTUALLY be the case. We know that Lewis, Evans and Brown all did work this spring and fall, so there is no reason to think they wouldn’t play. Yes, Jalen probably just solidified a spot for himself on the two deep, but I have a hunch that the coaches just don’t want to tip their hat.
Mitchell seemed like he had the talent to play right away (though the same could be said for LeBeauf too). Brown had a solid spring and seemed poised to play a big role this year. Really we have no reason to believe that we won’t potentially see everyone this Saturday, but without seeing names on the roster, we are just guessing at this point.
Is he on Twitter?

Completely made up fact
As you can see from his nickname, Chris is an expert on Greek Mythology. His parents asked him to avoid studying Hephaestus after he attempted to forge a spear in the fireplace.
