It’s starting to get real, everyone. We are at a calendar month before kickoff down in Alabama. We are now at 31 days and with that, let’s talk about—Skyler Seibold
#31, Skyler Seibold, RS Senior, RB

Stats
Height: 6’ 1”
Weight: 208
High School: Chaparral HS, Temecula, CA
How’d he get to The BlueTM?
Mr. Seibold walked on to the Broncos back in 2014. He’s been doing his thing since then.
Nickname
”Samson”
I will physically fight (and lose to) anyone who says anything negative about those luxurious locks.

Career highlights
His Broncos highlights are mostly limited to special teams tackles. His best year was his RS Freshman year when he had five tackles. He’s got 11 tackles for his career.
2018 Prospectus
Seibold spent the first part of his Boise State career as one of the safeties. Seeing an opportunity to help the team, he volunteered to switch over to the offense and play running back.
The first two are almost assured: Alexander Mattison and Robert Mahone. There’s always some flexibility there, but that’s base of it. The Broncos had lost Drake Beasley because, well, he wanted to take a break. Coaches had communicated to Mr. Beasley that he would have played this year. So the reason he decided to leave is still up in the air. Jake Shaddox (he of Fortnite glory) is the other running back on the roster. That’s pretty thin (as far as current) players on the roster.
The fall will see lauded signees Andrew VanBuren and Danny Smith. With the new redshirt rules in play, it’s not if VanBuren plays but when. Danny Smith will probably see some touches as well, why not amiright?!
So about Seibold. He had himself quite the Spring Game when his turn came around.

(Does it freak anyone else out when dudes hold the ball with their left hands when the assumption is they’re right-handed? No? Just a “me” thing? Ok.)
So it stands to reason he’s going to get his fair share of touches on the ball. How many is the big question. Barring any injuries, look to see Seibold as a change-of-pace back and in a rotation where Mattison and Mahone will be needing a breather.
Is he on Twitter?
He was at one point. But it doesn’t look like it anymore. He does have an Instagram account but it’s private. So if you wanted to see what he is doing for lunch, you’re gonna have to get his permission to follow him.
Completely made up fact
You may have heard about ‘Meet me in Temecula’ and the foolishness that is social media. Well Seibold was going to ref the confrontation. Even got the striped shirt and whistle. But, alas, when the other dude didn’t show up, Seibold just had to ref a local kid’s soccer match. It was a good time.
