Wake Up, Bronco Nation: Basketball schedules released; Allie Ostrander honored

NCAA Basketball: Wyoming at Boise State Brian Losness-USA TODAY Sports

How do you hurt a circus clown?

Go for the juggler.

Bronco WBB conference schedule has been released

Broncos are on their way to another championship. And they have a lot coming into this next season. They return a lot of production and only have three seniors on next years’ squad. The team should be the favorite to retake the MWC crown.

And speaking of basketball conference schedules

The Broncos WBB also have their conference schedule released as well. Because of the offset schedules the Broncos miss out on hosting New Mexico, but don’t have to go to Logan, Utah (the women’s schedule is the reverse of that). Missing out on a trip to Utah State doesn’t break my heart.

Watch Allie Ostrander’s national title performance in the 3000M Steeplechase

When the Broncos came back from Oregon, they put on a surprise celebration in Albertsons Stadium. Where Ms. Ostrander was given her own honorary hammer. And... it’s pretty sizable.

This was a pretty cool thing that school was able to do for Allie.

Joey Martarano to return to the gridiron

Unfortunately for us, no, he cant come back to Boise State. But he does get one more year on the collegiate level. Just not with us. This makes my heart sad. But for sure wish him well.

Yeah, it was a slow news day yesterday. In the meantime, bask in this internet fireplace.
