Wake Up, Bronco Nation: Softball in first place; Baseball picks up commit; LVE tackles?; Commencment

NFL: NFL Draft Tim Heitman-USA TODAY Sports

Why was the math book so depressed?

It had so many problems.

Bronco SB in first place (for now)

The Broncos have come a long way over the last two years. Just this preseason, the Broncos were predicted to finish in seventh place. But, with some great pitching and scoring, the Broncos have the ability to win the whole dang thing.

It would be nice if the Broncos could rely on a San Jose State loss to the Nevada Wolf Pack. But winning is the best route. So far they are on a three-game winning streak. Which bodes well for the Broncos because they have had three win-streaks of at least six games so far this year. And the matchup is quite favorable in last-place New Mexico at Dona Larson Park.

Bronco BSB gets another commit

Van Tol still doing work to get this program going. And he’s getting some solid guys along the way.

How many sacks will Leighton Vander Esch have this season?

All of them. He will have ALL THE SACKS. And it will be great.

Speaking of LVE:

The Dallas organization has to be SUPER stoked that he’s on top of a moving bus with nothing to protect him.

Women’s tennis coach Beck Roghaar named MWC Coach of the Year

Congratulations to both the team and Coach Roghaar for the honor. The Broncos had made it to the MWC quarterfinals before getting bounced.

Congratulations to all those who graduated from Boise State over the weekend

Whether they are athletes or “just” a regular student, walking out of Boise State with a degree is pretty cool.
