Wake Up, Bronco Nation: Leighton Vander Esch appearance; Shea McClellin cut; ESPN’s ‘conference’ review

NFL: Super Bowl LI-New England Patriots vs Atlanta Falcons Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

I began reading a horror novel in Braille.

Something bad is going to happen, I can feel it!

Leighton Vander Esch at the Blue and Orange store

Making the celebrity rounds.

I would say hop on that reservation. Don’t want to miss out.

Orlando Scandrick going to Washington

Well that certainly didn’t take too long for him to get picked up somewhere else. He had been hampered a little bit with injury when he finished his time in Dallas. Washington may be another chance to play for a few more years.

Boise State Bronco Day April 14th

If you, or someone you know, is a prospective student, they should go. Also the Spring Game is that afternoon so that will be fun.

Shea McClellin cut by the New England Patriots

Well, hamburgers.

I hope that this doesn’t permanently end his career. But he’s been in the NFL for six years, longer than the average NFL career. So that’s pretty good. But I do hope to seem him on a roster by next fall.

Worst-case scenario he can come hang out with OBNUG at Dairy Queen. Blizzards never make your heart hurt. Well. Normally.

ESPN has a ‘conference-by-conference’ breakdown

Incidentally, not sure when Boise State joined the ‘Group of 5’ conference but I sure hope they have better TV coverage. Or at least nachos.

Boise State, and Taco Bell Arena, shined during the NCAA tournament opening weekend

Looks like Boise State put on a good show (camera angle whining notwithstanding). Didn’t hurt that Boise State had a really good collection of teams (Gonzaga, Ohio State, Arizona, and Kentucky). Maybe I’ll get the chance to go to the next one in 2021.

Draft blurb about Archie Lewis in CBS Sports

Going to take a wild guess and just assume he’s going to be an Undrafted Free Agent.

Miscellinkeous

This says Entrances to Hell. But, really, it’s just one picture, and it’s safe for work. I sat there for a minute and nothing popped up or was weird.
