Is there a more intimidatingly named venue than UNM's Dreamstyle Arena? I think not! Oh, they may call it "The Pit"...but it will always be Dreamstyle to me. Tonight, the dreamily-named arena will host our 19-4 Broncos and it promises to be a bit closer than last time out, when the Broncos curb-stomped the Lobos by 28 at home. Since that beatdown (remember, UNM only lost to first-place Nevada by 3), New Mexico has regrouped and won 6 of 8, and are currently in 3rd place in the conference...so this one has some weight to it. The Broncos will need to get another big night out of Chandler Hutchison to dispatch the Lobos and it'll be nice if Justinian Jessup has a repeat performance against UNM as well (he had 23 pts against them on January 3rd). On the defensive end, the Broncos will do well to shut down Lobo scoring-leader Sam Logwood and keep an eye on Joe Furstinger, who was the high point man against the Broncos last month.
If you aren't in Albuquerque, I've got good news—the game will be televised on ESPNU. If you don't have cable, I also have good news that has nothing to do with switching to GEICO—Bob Behler has your back on 670 KBOI. Let's make our dreams come true at Dreamstyle!
