Basketball GameThread: UNLV at Boise State

Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

It's an orange out at the Bell and chances are you'll be there. The Broncos fully sold out TBA tripping Leon Rice's "ride a horse across campus" clause and it promises to be rocking to welcome the Runnin' Rebels (16-6) of UNLV to town. If you jumped aboard the ticket train a little too late, you can tune in to watch the proceedings at CBS Sports Network or listen to Bob and Abe call the shots on 670 KBOI. UNLV still has the top-scoring offense in the conference at 85.8 points per game, but four of their six losses have come in-conference, meaning they currently sit in fifth place in the MWC. The Broncos (18-4) are still just behind Nevada in the standings, but can keep pace with a win tonight.

Obviously, the Broncos are led by wunderkind Chandler Hutchison (19.7 PPG, 7.7 RPG) and he was good for 32 when the Broncos played at UNLV earlier this season. The Runnin' Rebels are led by fab frosh Brandon McCoy, who is averaging 17.7 PPG and 10.7 rebounds/game. Stop the 7'1" forward and the Broncos' night will get much easier. BSU is undefeated at home this season (12-0) and the home crowd is a big reason why. If you got your tickets, get on down here! I'll be courtside live-tweeting the action from the OBNUG twitter machine and will be along after with stats and recap.

GO BRONCOS!
