Tipoff: 9pm (MT)
Television: CBS Sports Network
Radio: 670 KBOI
Line: Aztecs by 4
It's the second-to-last game of Boise State's 2017-18 basketball season and they've already locked up the 2 seed in the MWC tournament. At this point, they're playing for pride and to not let their NCAA tourney hopes take any further hits. One, could argue that they pretty much need to win the MWC tournament to have a shot at a March berth anyway, but y'know what? Let's go ahead and win anyway...I'm not what you'd call a San Diego State "fan".
The Aztecs (17-10) are rolling right now and own 4 straight wins, so the Broncos (22-6) will need to bring their game to San Diego to go along with their flip flops. Last time these two squads battled, Chandler Hutchison scored a career-best 44 points...but the Broncos needed every one of those points—narrowly defeating the Aztecs by three. San Diego State is lucky to get their top scorer Malik Pope back for tonight's contest, after he served a very short suspension for getting facetime in the FBI dragnet that smacked NCAA basketball last week.
A win tonight will give the Broncos their 23rd victory of the season—which would be good for fourth best win-total in program history. Leon Rice getting it DONE.
