Boise State Game Balls for Week of Oct. 29 - Nov 4

[Introduction text]

Game Ball One:

Addison Standlee (soccer)

The Bronco soccer season didn’t really end like we had wanted it to. After earning a share of the regular season title (and the eventual no. 1 seed in the tournament) the Broncos went 0-3-1 in the last four matches. Not the most ideal way to end things.

But, at any rate, the Broncos did get some all-tournament nods. Here is the first.

Game Ball Two:

Allegra Weeks (soccer)

And here is the second. Broncos did well this season. Just had some tough breaks down the stretch.

Game Ball Three:

Morgan Hughes (volleyball)

Broncos swept their road matches last week. And Ms. Hughes led that effort with some great defense. The Broncos secured another winning season for Coach Shawn Garus. The Broncos have four matches left, three at home then ending the season down in Colorado Springs against Air Force.

Game Ball Four:

Alexander Mattison (football)

Mattison lead the Broncos in rushing, natch, with 89 yards on 25 attempts. This led both squads by the way. (I mean technically Zach Wilson also had 89 yards rushing, but he also got sacked for 53 yards so there you go.) And he also led in receptions (thank you checkdowns!) with five receptions and 40 yards. Add two touchdowns to that and it makes for a solid day.

Game Ball Five:

Tyler Horton (football)

Dude just loves getting causing, and recovering, fumbles.

Your Turn

How about that folks?
