2019 Boise State Recruiting Roundup: 10/7/18

NCAA Football: San Diego State at Boise State Brian Losness-USA TODAY Sports

Broncos lost — no need to discuss that further. Let’s see how the future Broncos did.

Hank Bachmeier, QB, Murrieta Valley HS (Murrieta, CA)

The Nighthawks beat Temecula Valley in a high scoring affair 63-52 to improve to 4-3 on the season. Hank was a solid 18-30 for 338 yards and 4 TDs to one interception. He also contributed 10 carries for 59 yards and 2 more touchdowns on the ground, accounting for 6 TDs total and 397 yards.

Murrieta Valley takes on Great Oak (1-6) this Friday, 10/12, at 7pm.

Casey Kline, ATH, Brawley HS (Brawley, CA)

Brawley stomped Palo Verde Valley 41-3 to move to 6-1. Casey was injured in the game, unfortunately, and may be done for the season. It is the same injury to his shoulder he got last year at the same point in the season. If he does require season-ending surgery, I’ll keep you posted.

Brawley takes on Southwest EC (3-4) on Friday, 10/12, at 7pm.

Keegan Duncan, RB, Declo HS (Declo, ID)

Declo remained 6-0 after curb stomping Fruitland 43-14. While full stats couldn’t be found, Duncan accounted for 4 total touchdowns - 3 on the ground and one through the air. Fruitland was the defending 3A champs while Declo is a 2A squad.

Declo will take on 3A Filer (1-6) on Friday, 10/12, at 7pm.

Jacob Golden, OL, Peoria HS (Peoria, AZ)

The Panthers defeated Estrella Foothills 38-19 to improve to 6-1 on the year. Golden had 2 total tackles and contributed to a 347 yard rushing effort for Peoria.

Peoria takes on Deer Valley (0-7) on Friday, 10/12, at 7pm.

Ben Dooley, OL, Churchill County HS (Fallon, NV)

The Greenwave remained unbeaten after blanking Elko 44-0. Stats for the win are not yet available.

CCHS takes on Sparks (2-6) Friday, 10/12, at 7pm.

George Holani, RB, St John Bosco HS (Bellflower, CA)

SBJ remained unbeaten (7-0) after beating Orange Lutheran 63-28. Stats for the win are not yet available, but so far, George has 51 carries for 517 yards (10.1 ypc) and 10 TDs along with 5 receptions for 62 yards and 2 more TDs.

SJB takes on Mater Dei (6-1) Friday, 10/12, at 730pm.

It remains to be see if the Broncos reap any rewards from the recruiting weekend. We’ve heard before that wins/losses generally don’t affect the recruiting game much, so hopefully that’s the case as this was one of the biggest recruiting weekends we have had in a while. Keep your eyes peeled on Twitter. Best of luck to the future Broncos this week in their matchups! GO BRONCOS!
