Coffee is for closers. And we certainly had some of those this weekend (closers, not sure if anyone else had coffee). Let’s get it.
Game Ball One:
Raimee Sherle (soccer)

It was in a losing effort, but Ms. Sherle sure played like she’s done all regular season: hard.
Game Ball Two:
Ahmed Muhumed (mxc)

Mr. Muhumed lead the Bronco MXC to a conference title and helped the team earn 50 points. I don’t know XC scoring all that well, but the fewer the points, the better. So that’s cool. Another title comes to rest at Boise State.
Game Ball Three:
Allie Ostrander (wxc)

The women didn’t take the title this year (that was New Mexico). But it was after a razor-thin margin and not for lack of effort. The Broncos slugged it out and almost nabbed the win. But Allie Ostrander led the women, natch, in their second-place effort.
Game Ball Four:
Brett Rypien (football)

Five TDs. No picks. 399 yards. Six stitches to the chin. One Game Ball.
Game Ball Five:
John Hightower (football)

Three touchdowns and over 180 yards. I am so glad we get this dude for one more year (hopefully).
Your Turn
It was a good one last week. Let’s keep the momentum going.
