2019 Boise State Recruiting Roundup: 10/28/18

New, comment
NCAA Football: Boise State at Air Force Isaiah J. Downing-USA TODAY Sports

I don’t know about all of you, but I lost about 6 years of my life watching that Air Force game. The Broncos left the victors and snapped the 2 game losing skid in Colorado Springs! Let’s touch base with the future...

Hank Bachmeier, QB, Murrieta Valley HS (Murrieta, CA)

Hank did a thing...

While the Nighthawks lost to Vista Murrieta 21-35, Hank broke the career TD record set by JT Daniels. He was 14-30 for 290 yards, 2 TDs and 3 INTs. He also had 14 carries for 98 yards and another TD. For the regular season, Hank was 176-280 (63.6%) for 2,823 yards, 30 TDs and 8 INTs. He also has 79 rushes for 454 yards (5.7 ypc) and another 10 TDs.

Murrieta Valley takes on San Clemente (6-4) this Friday, 11/2, at 7pm.

Casey Kline, ATH, Brawley HS (Brawley, CA)

Nice to see Kline return to action. Brawley dropped one to El Centro 10-14, despite Casey returning to play. He was 1-1 for 26 yards, had 8 carries for 15 yards and a TD and 3 receptions for 53 yards.

Brawley begins their playoff run on Friday, 11/9, at 7pm. Opponent is TBA (no, not Taco bell Arena).

Keegan Duncan, RB, Declo HS (Declo, ID)

Declo won their first playoff game against Ririe 41-21, improving to 9-0 and advancing in the playoffs. While stats were not available in the win, Keegan took the first play from scrimmage for 60 and a TD AND scored the second TD as well.

Declo will take on Westside (9-0) on Friday, 11/2, in round 2 of the state playoffs.

Jacob Golden, OL, Peoria HS (Peoria, AZ)

The Panthers beat Cactus 37-31 to improve to 9-1. Jacob had 8 total tackles and helped contribute to an offense that had 489 rushing yards. You read that right.

Peoria takes on Seton Catholic (7-3) on Friday, 11/2, at 7pm in the first round of state playoffs.

Ben Dooley, OL, Churchill County HS (Fallon, NV)

The Greenwave finished the regular season unbeaten (9-0) after beating Lowry 43-0. That was their 4th shutout in a row and the fifth of the season. Ben helped contrinute to a 209 yard rushing effort.

CCHS begins the playoffs Friday, 11/2, at 7pm against Fernley (8-4).

George Holani, RB, St John Bosco HS (Bellflower, CA)

SBJ blasted Servite 56-0, staying undefeated (10-0) and #1 in the national rankings and a Trinity League championship. Stats were not available in the win, but George had at least one receiving TD. Through the Mater Dei game, George had 70 carries for 693 yards (9.9 ypc) and 12 TDs along with 7 receptions for 101 yards and 4 more TDs.

SBJ takes on Serra (5-5) Friday, 11/2, at 7pm.

The Broncos get BYU at home this week. Be there, or be square! Good luck to our future Broncos in their playoff games and their remaining schedules. GO BRONCOS!
