Boise State Game Balls for Week of Oct 14 - Oct 21

Changing up the timing on this just a smidge. Figure now is as good a time as any.

Game Ball One:

Ally Kleinsorgen (swimming)

Ms. Kleinsorgen had herself a week last week leading the Broncos to a 3-1 record. The Broncos are picking up where they left off from a championship last year to keeping that momentum going for this year.

Game Ball Two:

Raimee Sherle (soccer)

She scored the only goal in two games last week (a win over Colorado College). And then helped earn the Broncos at least a share of the MWC title. This Friday is the season closing game and an opportunity to win outright.

Game Ball Three:

Morgan Hughes (volleyball)

Ms. Hughes played a heavy part in the Broncos’ sweep of Utah State and Air Force last week. Some close matches but the Broncos were victorious.

Game Ball Four:

Avery Williams (football)

Avery Williams is still in his “awesome” mode. An interception. A kickoff returned for a TD. An assist on a Kaniho TD (yes, that is what I am calling it). He’s so good and was a walk-on. So crazy.

Game Ball Five:

Brett Rypien (football)

Could have gone a lot of ways with this one (Richardson, Modster). But I figured I might as well go with the guy who was the impetus to it all. Four TDs and over 300 yards. Just another day in the office (and another Game Ball).
