It was a productive last week for the Broncos. Especially for the soccer team as they continued their march towards a conference championship.
Game Ball One:
Raimee Sherle (soccer)

The junior from Meridian, Idaho is going to be named the Mountain West Conference Player of the Year. It’s just a given at this point. She’s the best player in the league.
Last week Ms. Sherle score five out of the six goals the Broncos had in wins against UNLV and Colorado State.
Game Ball Two:
Yusuke Uchikoshi (MXC)

He led the Broncos’ fifth-place team finish with his 14-place finish. The men’s team beat a bunch of ranked schools to pull that off. They were no. 26 in the nation coming into the meet. I expect the Broncos men’s team to move up the rankings as a result.
Game Ball Three:
Allie Ostrander (WXC)

Did she race? Then, yeah, she’s making this list.
Game Ball Four:
Brett Rypien (football)

Another 300+ yard game? More touchdown passes? No picks? Sounds good to me.

Game Ball Five:
AJ Richardson (football)

Dude might just play himself into MWC all-team selection. Exactly what team is still up for grabs.
Game Ball Six:
John Hightower (football)

How were the coaching staff able to strike twice on college JUCO transfers? Eye for talent.

Your Turn
There are three people on this post that have better-than-good chances to get MWC player of the year for their respective sports. That’s not for nothing.
