It's Mountain West After Dark as the Broncos travel to Save Mart Center in Fresno and try to finish their road stand with a W. The Broncos suffered their first conference loss of the season on Saturday when they fell to Wyoming in OT, but don't want that to become a trend as they try to stay alive for an at-large bid to the NCAA tourney.
Standing in the Broncos path is a good Fresno State squad (12-5), and this is the only time the Broncos (13-3) will get a shot at them this season, so they'll need to play better (or at least for longer) than they did this weekend. Fresno is paced by junior guard Deshon Taylor, who leads the team in points per game (18.9), minutes, and assists. Obviously, the Broncos continue to be led by senior phenom Chandler Hutchison, who is checking in with an 18.1 ppg average, and is also leading the team in assists and rebounds/game. The Broncos haven't always had the best luck at Save Mart Center, so let's hope their well-rested for tonight's contest.
The game will air on ESPNU and 670 KBOI, so catch it if you can. Of course, if you're in Fresno...why?
