Basketball GameThread: Boise State at Air Force

Brian Losness-USA TODAY Sports

More like "air ball" force, am I riiiight? Your Boise State Broncos (17-4) head to the thin air of Colorado Springs to take on the Falcons (8-11) tonight before getting a little break from the grind of conference play. Just one Air Force cager averages double-figure points per game...that's LaVelle Scottie at 11.6—so the Broncos don't have to worry too much about the Falcons spreading the floor. They will, however, have to worry about getting their own guys to score as Air Force is one of the better defensive teams in the conference (allowing 71.6 ppg). Of course, your usual suspects for bringing the offense are seniors Chandler Hutchison (19.9 ppg, 8 rebounds, 4 assists) and Christian Sengfelder, who had a career night against SJSU and dropped 31 on the hapless Spartans. Alex Hobbs and Justinian Jessup are also pretty good bets to help the Broncos to the win—especially since Jessup sort of worked his way through a multi-game slump earlier this week.

If you'd like to watch the game and aren't in Colorado for "cataract medicine", you can tune in to ESPNU at 8pm (MT) and watch the Broncos go for their 18th win of the year. The game will also be broadcast on 670 KBOI as usual, so that's another option for you. Just nine more regular season games for the Broncos, so your chances to watch this fun team are dwindling. Catch'em while you can!

GO BRONCOS!
