Basketball GameThread: SJSU at Boise State

Brian Losness-USA TODAY Sports

If you are a Boise State student, consider yourself in the proverbial catbird seat. Or maybe just the "free seat", as you are entitled to free admission, a free watch, AND free pizza. They want you at your home, students...are you too good for your home?! Yeah, the opponent—SJSU—is hot garbage, but it means you'll get to see Chandler Hutchison do some Chandler Hutchison things...and maybe see Justinian Jessup and Christian Sengfelder break their 3-point slump. So go on, get.

San José State doesn't have much of a team (they're 3-15), but they do have one competent player in Ryan Welage, who is averaging 17.2 points a game. No other Spartan is even averaging double-digits, which might explain their porous record. The Broncos are coming off a hard-fought road loss to reigning league champ Nevada and want to get their 17th win of the season at home. Looks like they'll have a good chance at getting it.

The game will be aired on AT&T Sportsnet and ROOT sports if you can't make it to TBA (you can get free ticket vouchers at Taco Bell) and of course, Bob Behler will be calling the action straight to your ears. Our own Damien Alambra will be courtside and bringing you the action live from the OBNUG Twitter machine.

GO BRONCOS!
