I’m not going to talk about the game. It’s been talked about enough. Let’s check in on how our future Broncos did this week.
Andrew VanBuren, RB, Caminade HS (West Hills, CA)
Chaminade rocked Crespi 39-7 on Friday, moving to 4-1. Stats for this game are not yet available. Stats for last week’s game against Bakersfield were updated however. Andrew had 12 carries for 64 yards.
Chaminade takes on Serra this Thursday, 9/28 at 7pm.
Scale Igiehon, DT, Del Valle HS (Del Valle, TX)
Del Valle moved to 4-0 after blanking Reagan 67-0 on Friday. Stats are not available for the game, but I do have highlights!
Del Valle takes on Reagan on Friday, 9/22 at 730pm.
Kukea Emmsley, DE, Kapolei HS (Kapolei, HI)
Kapolei had a bye this week.
Kapolei takes on Nanakuli next Friday, 9/29 at 730pm (Hawaii time).
Brandon Hawkins, LB, Georgetown HS (Georgetown, TX)
The Eagles shut out Elgin this week 48-0, moving to 3-2. Not stats were entered in the game by Georgetown, but if they do I’ll make sure to update. Highlights have been posted from their loss to Hutto last week.
Georgetown takes on Bastrop Friday, 9/29 at 730pm.
Zidane Thomas, RB, Centennial HS (Peoria, AZ)
The Coyotes remained perfect after an easy 48-14 win over Westview on Friday. For whatever reason I can’t find stats for the game. Based on the Centennial Football Twitter account, he had at least one TD.
Centennial takes on St. Thoas Aquinas on Friday, 9/29 at 7pm.
DJ Schramm, LB, Clovis West HS (Fresno, CA)
The Golden Eagles took down Bullard 37-13, moving to 3-1. Stats aren’t available for the game, but highlights from the win against Rocklin last week were up.
The Golden Eagles take on Centennial (Bakersfield) on Thursday, 9/28 at 730pm.
Philip Mills, LB, Paloma Valley HS (Menifee, CA)
Paloma Valley took down Temecula Valley 42-12, improving to 4-1. While I could not find stats, there were highlights for Phillip in the win.
Paloma Valley has a bye next week, but will take on Temescal Canyon on October 6th at 7pm.
Zachary Wilson, QB, Corner Canyon HS (Draper, UT)
Corner Canyon moved to 5-0 after throttling Timpview 44-7. Wilson had 177 yards through the air with a TD and another 27 carries for 142 yards and 2 more TDs.
Corner Canyon takes on Brighton this Friday at 7pm.
Keeghan Freeborn, OG, Rocky Mountain HS (Meridian, ID)
Rocky Mountain snuck by Timberline 39-32, moving to 4-1 on the year. Stats aren’t kept for lineman. Freeborn was nursing an injury last week, so I’m unsure if he played.
Rocky Mountain takes on Borah this Friday at 7pm.
Kekaniokoa Gonzalez, C, Mater Dei HS (Santa Ana, CA)
Mater Dei easily handled St Mary’s last night 52-14 remaining unbeaten. Stats aren’t available for the game (shocker), though offensive lineman stats aren’t kept. Mater Dei remains ranked #2 in the nation behind IMG Academy in Florida, #1 in California.
Game details are not yet available for this week. MaxPreps says bye, but it also says they have a neutral non-conference game this Friday at 7pm. We’ll see what happens.
Cole Ramseyer, TE, Coeur d’Alene HS (Coeur d’Alene, ID)
Cole’s Vikings are currently 3-2 after losing to Camas 28-25. Stats aren’t available for Cole in the loss, but I have included highlights of his first 3 games.
CDA takes on Capital Christian this Friday at 7pm.
More videos this week, but less stats! I have to reiterate that I post anything I can. I do get a point where I no long have access to certain newspaper sites as free views are limited. High school statisticians don’t keep great stats either. I will continue to do the best I can. Go Broncos!
