Wake Up, Bronco Nation: Boise State volleyball top 25 votes; Soccer; Kamalei Correa; Shea McClellin

NFL: Baltimore Ravens at Cleveland Browns Scott R. Galvin-USA TODAY Sports

6:30 is the best time on the clock.

Hands down!

Boise State volleyball receiving some top 25 votes

While the Broncos don’t actually crack the 25, receiving votes is impressive. The team is coming off a massively successful 2016 season wherein we saw them win the Mountain West Conference title and notch a win in the NCAA tournament. They are only replacing one player from last year’s team and will have returning Outside Hitter Senior Sierra Nobley and Libero Maddi Osburn. This is going to be a loaded team with super-high expectations and a schedule to match. They will be facing off against three top 25 opponents. If you get a chance to watch them, it is highly recommended.

Bronco soccer picked seventh in preseason poll

The footballers have a lot of work to do this fall. With somewhat lower expectations for the squad it should free them to get do better.

Darian Thompson set to start at safety for the New York Giants

I cannot remember if I have already posted this. Or if it wasn’t already kind of obvious. So here it is. Thompson has been working really hard to bounce back from injury so it is good to see him in line to succeed from that.

Jeremy McNichols once played for Snoop Dogg youth team

I feel as though we already knew this. We at least know that McNichols hung out with Snoop while Snoop was in Boise. (And, of course, I can’t seem to find the picture of McNichols and Snoop hanging out.)

Anyway. It’s a small world after all.

Kamalei Correa likely going to play today

Kickoff is 5:30 MST. Not sure how many snaps he will get. Doubtful he will be in for more than one or two series. But It will be good to see him in action.

An article about Matt Paradis and his recovery

Well. Kind of. It is actually about Connor McGovern and his ability to fill in the place of Matt Paradis should Paradis goes down. Losing Paradis would be a big blow to the Denver Broncos’ front line. I just hope he doesn’t have any more injuries because I would hate to see another former Boise State player have his career cut short due to injury.

Shea McClellin absent from a walkthrough

Doesn’t appear to be a disciplinary issue as he was among four New England Patriots that did not participate. The expectation is for him to not play tonight. So, if you aren’t necessarily a Patriots fan, don’t bother tuning in. Unless your thirst for football is too great.

Chanceller James is a dark-horse Safety for the San Francisco 49ers

Mr. James has been keeping his name in the news (and not just because of the hit he experienced with linebacker Donavin Newsom). Could seriously see him with a shot at a 53-man roster spot.

Demarcus Lawrence set to become a ‘War Daddy’ for the Dallas Cowboys?

In Lawrence’s fourth year, it is a possibility. If he can just stay on the field.

This player is the most important Miami Dolphin on offense

And it probably is a big hint who it is just by my inclusion in the WUBN. So read and enjoy.

The case for, and against, Kellen Moore being the Cowboys’ backup in 2017

Not sure why the font for the AGAINST header is bigger. Kind of take offense to that.

Rees Odhiambo getting some first team reps in practice with the Seattle Seahawks

I approve.

Tanner Vallejo fourth on the depth chart for middle linebacker?

If we are to read this article literally: yes.

Orlando Scandrick earned the respect of his Cowboys teammates

Bouncing back and being productive.
