Some of you might remember a silent commitment alert a month ago that made many remark, “man, isn’t this awfully early to have a silent commitment?!”. Well, the commitment is silent no more, and thankfully, it confirms what many of us suspected, and that is that the Broncos big pickup was, in fact, Scale Igiehon—a massive DT out of Del Valle High School in Texas. Scout has Igiehon currently listed at 6’2” and 327 lbs. which would make him our heaviest D-lineman if he were here right this minute. Scales tipped.

The 3-star people-mover had hauled in quite the offer list before his senior season, and as of today held firm schollie pledges from UCF, Tulsa, Toledo, Texas State, Texas Southern, Stephen F. Austin, Rice, Purdue, New Mexico, Houston, Colorado State, Arkansas State, Abilene Christian, and of course, the Broncos. His verbal pledge (non-binding till at least December 20th) is the sixth known commitment of the 2018 class and he’s the 2nd Texan to join the blorange brotherhood, joining LB Brandon Hawkins.
